We had a great day. I started my herb garden, FINALLY took a moment to paint my toenails, then we went exploring at a state park nearby. There were also slushies from Sonic at some point in there. We finished off our evening with a great dinner cooked on our brand-spankin' new grill, which was part of my birthday/Valentine's day gift.

Planting herbs. Anybody need chives? Because I should have a TRUCKLOAD soon. That starter greenhouse thingy I'm planting? One of four!
And now, the 2 most beautiful parts of my weekend:
Dean was just happy he got to eat his YoBaby outside.
Moooooooom, what's an herb? (or a herb if you pronounce the h...)
My new favorite picture of my son.
My son who discovered pine cones today.
A perfect day.

Oh, I love the picture of Dean standing by the bench! It's beautiful. Glad you did it in black and white.
Girl, you have enough herbs to start your own farmstand if they all come up! Those will be so good on your grilled food this summer.
I'm so happy you, Marcus, and Dean had such a perfect day. Where are the pictures of Marcus?! He needs to be seen, too, maybe fishing.
Love you,
J
I am not jealous - I am wishing we would get more snow (and I grew up in weather like you are having)!
I wish I could remember to water things! Then I might have a garden. Maybe AJU5 will help me in a year or so?
Glad you had a great weekend!
Awwww... love the YoBaby face (Ryan lived on that when she was little!). And your new favorite picture is mine, too... it's gorgeous. I always love pictures taken from behind, which seems odd, really, when their faces are so cute! I have one of Ryan standing at the edge of the ocean, in a sundress, and it's just breathtaking. So I'm with ya!
I love your new favorite pic too.
I agree with Diane. I have one from behind of Heather and Chase walking hand in hand at Disney when Chase was two and it's one of my favorites of them.

I love that black and white shot, too. You should print it and frame it in your house!
Where did you get your herb garden? It looks neat!
@Not Your Aunt Bea: Those starter greenhouse trays came from the garden section at Wal-Mart! They each have 72 little circles of peat and each circle holds 2-3 seeds, depending on what you're planting. It was REALLY affordable. A good starter garden for me, I think!
How did I miss this post?? Those pictures are adorable!! Looks like y'all had a wonderful weekend!
