A trip down memory lane

My friend Dawn, who went to high school with me, made my day yesterday. I got home to find a message from her containing 3 pictures of the two of us at our summer job the summer of 1995: Sno Biz Shave Ice! It was the greatest job I ever had. If they had health insurance, I might still work there. Dawn and I spent our days giggling, listening to the radio, visiting with our friends, eating sno cones and sometimes even waiting on customers. There was no stress. There were no mean bosses. We had just graduated from high school and were on our way to college with our whole lives ahead of us. It was the best summer ever.

Sometimes I think about Sno Biz Sahved Ice with condensed milk on them, and I weep a nostalgic tear. Damn those were good. And the ones that tasted like cake.

Those pics could not be cuter. And you articulate that happy-go-lucky feeling very well. Nostalgia.

P.S. Is Memory Lane related to you? :)

Eileen, I was about to say the same thing. Memory Lane is going to be Gaybee's younger sister. He, of course, will pronounce it "Mem-ri" in his Trans-Atlantic Accent that he has for no reason.
